Where do the heat warnings come from?

The heat warnings in our app are sourced from the German Meteorological Service.

When is a heat warning issued?

The German Meteorological Service issues a heat warning when the following conditions are met:

• Strong heat stress is forecast for at least 2 consecutive days
• Sufficient nighttime cooling of living spaces can no longer be guaranteed

How can I avoid heat-related complaints?

Heat-related complaints can be avoided or reduced through adapted behaviour. Ensure adequate fluid intake, avoid physical exertion during the hottest hours and use cooler times to ventilate your rooms.

How do I disable heat warnings?

You can disable heat warnings at any time in the push notifications settings. To do this, open the app settings and adjust your notification options.
