Screenshots are a helpful way to document problems or specific screen content. Here's how to take a screenshot on your Android device:
Check built-in function
Some Android devices offer a built-in screenshot function. To check if your device supports this, go to quick settings or settings and look for an option called "Screen recording" or similar.
Use a screenshot app
If your device doesn't have a built-in screenshot function, you can download a screenshot app from the Google Play Store. There are many third-party apps that offer this functionality. Popular options include:
- AZ Screen Recorder
- DU Recorder
- Mobizen Screen Recorder
Install and launch the app
Download your chosen screenshot app from the Google Play Store and install it on your Android device. Then open the app.
Take a screenshot
In the screenshot app, you'll usually find a recording icon or button. Tap it to start recording the screen. After you've completed the recording you want, stop it by tapping the recording button again or selecting the corresponding option in the app.
Save and share the recording
The recorded videos are usually saved in your device's internal storage or in a folder you've specified. From there, you can view, edit and share the recordings.
