It can be frustrating when the weather data in the Weather24 app doesn't match the actual weather at your location. There are several possible reasons for this, which we'll explain to you here.
Incorrect postcode assignment
In rare cases, postcodes in our database can be assigned incorrectly. This happens when a postcode is accidentally assigned to a neighbouring city. If you discover such an error, please let us know:
- The incorrect postcode
- The correct city and postcode
- A screenshot of the problem
We forward such reports to our database team. Please note that corrections are implemented in batches and may not be visible immediately.
Difference between local weather and regional measurements
The Weather24 app uses regional measurements from representative weather stations, not pinpoint measurements for each individual address. This means that the forecast may differ slightly from your actual location – particularly with small-scale weather events.
What you can do
If you suspect that the weather data for your postcode is fundamentally incorrect, contact our support with the following information:
- Your postcode
- Screenshots of the incorrect display
- Exact date and time
- Your device model and app version
Our team will technically investigate the issue and correct our database if necessary.
