The Problem: Frequently changing forecasts and differences from other apps
Many users of the Weather24 app report that weather forecasts change daily or that the displayed temperatures and weather conditions differ significantly from other weather apps. This leads to uncertainty and the feeling that forecasts are "random" – particularly with temperature readings several days in advance.
Why do the forecasts differ?
Different data sources: Different weather apps use different weather data models and measurement stations. Weather24 obtains its data from its own meteorological sources, which may differ from those of other providers. This is completely normal and does not mean that one app is less accurate.
Frequent updates: Weather models are updated several times daily when new measurement data becomes available. This is why forecasts can differ between yesterday and today – this is a sign that the data has been updated, not an error.
How reliable are the forecasts?
Short-term forecasts (1–2 days) are usually very reliable. As the time period increases, accuracy decreases. Forecasts for more than 5 days should be regarded as guidance, not as a binding commitment.
If you notice differences from other apps, use Weather24 for daily planning – the data is scientifically sound and continuously refined.
