How do I enable notification sounds for push notifications?

You can set whether push notifications are announced with a sound in the Weather24 app.

Enable notification sound in the app

1. Open the Weather24 app.
2. Open the app menu.
3. Tap on "Settings".
4. Select "Push notifications".
5. Enable the "Notification sound" option.

What can I do if no sound is playing?

If notification sound is enabled in the app but you still don't hear a sound, check the following settings on your device:

• Push notifications for the Weather24 app must be allowed in device settings.
• Sounds for notifications must be enabled.
• The device must not be set to silent mode.
• Notification volume must not be turned down completely.
• Focus, Do Not Disturb, or similar mode must not be suppressing notifications.
• Battery Saver, battery optimisation, or background restrictions must not restrict the Weather24 app.

Then restart the Weather24 app or your device and check whether a new notification with sound is issued.

If you still don't hear a notification sound

It's best to send us a message directly from the Weather24 app:

App menu → Help

Please tell us:

• which device and operating system you are using,
• which version of the Weather24 app is installed,
• whether the notification appears without sound or is not displayed at all, and
• which troubleshooting steps you have already completed.
