Customise Weather24 app notifications for specific weather conditions

Learn how to set up notifications in the Weather24 weather app so you only receive weather alerts relevant to you. Our step-by-step guide helps you stay up to date and informed in a way that suits you.

Access alert levels

Open the following section in the app:

App menu → Settings → Push notifications → Alert levels

There you can adjust the settings for the following weather conditions:

• Thunderstorms
• Storm
• Rain
• Hail
• Snow
• Ice
• Frost
• Thaw
• Heat
• Fog

Set alert level

Each weather condition has its own slider.

Move the slider to the alert level from which you would like to be notified. You will then receive a push notification as soon as at least this alert level is reached for one of your saved locations.

If you do not wish to receive push notifications for a particular weather condition, slide the corresponding slider all the way to the right.

You can set the settings separately for each weather condition. For example, you can receive warnings about thunderstorms from a lower level and completely disable notifications for frost.

Tips for optimal use

• Regularly check your notification settings to adapt them to seasonal or personal changes.

• Enable only the alerts that are relevant to you so you are not overwhelmed by too many messages.

• Use the location options to stay informed when travelling or for multiple locations.
