How do I enable weather alerts in the Weather24 app?

Stay informed about weather changes at your most important locations – whether you're commuting, travelling or planning outdoor activities. In this guide, we'll show you how to set up weather alerts in the Weather24 app for one or more locations, so you don't miss any information.

You can specify which locations you want to receive severe weather alerts for and from which alert level you want to be notified.

Setting up severe weather alerts

1. Open the Weather24 app.
2. Open the app menu.
3. Tap "Settings".
4. Select "Push notifications".
5. Specify the locations for which you want to receive severe weather alerts.
6. Choose from which alert level you want to be notified.
7. Make sure that push notifications for the Weather24 app are also allowed in your device's settings.

If you're not receiving severe weather alerts

First, check:

• whether the desired location is saved,
• whether the alert level you set has been reached,
• whether push notifications are enabled in the app and
• whether your device allows notifications from the Weather24 app.

Please note: If you, for example, only want to be notified from a higher alert level, you won't receive push notifications for lower alert levels.

If you're not receiving alerts despite correct settings, it's best to send us a message directly from the app:

App menu → Help

Tell us the affected location, the alert level you've selected and the settings you've already checked. If you can't send a message from the app, send an email to support@weather24.co.uk.
